Gay advocacy association Equality Italia has asked that gay and lesbian couples be included in cultural initiative discounting entrance fees for Italian state museums on Valentine’s Day.
According to a bulletin published on the Italian Culture Ministry’s website, February 12 and 13 Italians and foreigners alike can take advantage of half-price tickets for a romantic day of “culture inspired by love”.
The ministry has yet to confirm that gay couples will be allowed the same discount, said Equality President Aurelio Mancuso.

I am reminded that Gore Vidal once said that “gay” is an adjective , not a noun . Gee , people still define themselves by their sexual practices.…” You are what you do with your genitals” ? Who cares ? Despite all the progress that has been made regarding this subject , why don‘t the professional “gays” address such issues as “look-ism” and “ageism” of that unhappy “subculture” ? What is more hateful than bunch of pretentious “Queens” “reading” other guys they don‘t like. Clean up your act — cunts !
